These Installation Instructions describe the essential steps for using this product. Please also observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the occupational health and safety regulations

Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms

Installation:
Laying is carried out in a bond, for this purpose the elements are laid next to each other with overlapping edges. Care must be taken to ensure that the recesses and indentations are laid on top of each other.

When used under walkways and driveways, the element is laid with the studs facing upwards; to store more water, the element is laid under greenery with the studs facing downwards. After installation, the SD 30 elements can be infilled (Zincolit®, stone chippings, ...) to secure their position in windy conditions. If the actual Superimposed / extra load cannot be applied immediately, they can also be backfilled with water for a short time.

Backfilling (stone chippings) is always carried out under Driveways.

Stabilodrain® SD 30 elements can also be driven on carefully when unfilled. However, it must be ensured that the substrate has sufficient load-bearing capacity.

A vibrating plate can be used to compact the ballast, but it must be taken into account that the work is being carried out on a roof surface. Select the vibrating plate accordingly so that the vibrations of the ceiling slab are not too great.

Cutting:
The drainage elements can be cut with an electric cutter or hot wire. Cutting to length with a circular saw or an electric foxtail is also possible.

When cutting, make sure that the already laid layers are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.

Above roof outlets, the drainage elements must be cut out according to the size of the outlet.
