Preliminary remarks:

The damming element must be installed on a smooth surface above roof outlets with connecting collars. Therefore, there must be no joints or seams in the area of the retaining element. In the case of bituminous waterproofing / sealing, the surface under the retaining element should be smoothed with liquid waterproofing. The surface in the area of the roof outlet should be as even as possible. Minor unevenness can be evened out by the rubber seal of the stainless steel plate.

Please consider the load-bearing capacity of the roof structure if you are planning with water retention. The emergency drainage must be planned at a suitable height (higher than the maximum accumulation). The overflow of the retaining element does not replace this.

For roof outlets with a fixing flange, the inner diameter of the screw ring must be greater than 280 mm. For smaller diameters, please consult the ZinCo application technology department.

Installation steps:

Place the stainless steel plate over the roof outlet.
If there are several roof outlets, the accumulation height must be the same for all accumulation elements; we recommend using an all-round laser. The desired damming height is achieved by screwing the plastic threaded pipe in or out.
When all the retaining elements have the desired height, the plastic pipe is fixed (countered) hand-tight with the nut, holding the plastic pipe firmly.
