Installation:
An Inspection Chamber is generally required above each roof outlet, which is placed directly on an Elastodrain® EL 202 Support Board for with the studs facing upwards.
Exception: If the covering is installed with Stabilodrain® SD 30, the EL 202 support ring is laid on the protective mat with the studs facing downwards.
The rectangular cut-out of the support ring is always positioned above the outlet. Foils underneath must be cut out in the diameter of the outlet.
The Filter Sheet is routed over the support flange of the Inspection Chamber.
If extension pieces are used, the upper shaft section with metal grate / grid is removed for installation, a maximum of three extension pieces are placed on top and the shaft section is replaced. The metal grate / grid is removed for screw fixing. For one extension piece, please use the screws with which the upper and lower shaft sections are already screwed in place. For two and/or three extension pieces, please use the enclosed 100 mm screws.
When applying the substructure of crushed stones (gravel base layer) or the chippings bedding, ensure that the Inspection Chamber is not displaced and remains in position above the roof outlet.
Maintenance:
The Inspection Chamber should be opened regularly and the outlet underneath checked. Debris must be removed to ensure proper functioning.
