Installation of pitched / Steep Pitched Green Roof:
On pitched / Steep Pitched Green Roofs, the Eaves Profile TRP 140 is installed as an eaves termination or at the edge of roof / perimeter in conjunction with Eaves Support brackets. The TRP 80 is generally used as a shear sill in the Area of pitched roofs, placed on the waterproofing / sealing or protective mat and supported on the previously installed Support brackets or Shear-Fix Connectors. The TRP 80 / TRP 140 must be weighted down with System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium.
Installation on flat roofs:
On flat roofs, the Eaves Profiles can be used to define / outline / restrict patio areas and walkways. They should be fixed in place with concrete or mortar to prevent them from migrating. As the border / boundary of an entire greening structure, they can be placed loosely on the roof seal or protective mat and weighted down with System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium or gravel / grit. The TRP profiles must be connected at the joints with the butt joint connectors welded on. Corner situations are constructed using inside or outside corners with Corner joints.
Cutting:
The Eaves Profiles are made of Stainless steel and are cut to size using a cut-off grinder. Sharp edges must be deburred after cutting
