These Installation Instructions describe the essential steps for using this product. Please also observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the occupational health and safety regulations.
Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms.
1
Use as a Filter Sheet:
Lay loose on drainage layers with approximately / approx. 20 cm overlapping. The Filter Sheet can also be raised slightly at rising edges of roof / perimeter and structural elements.
Use as a protective layer (e.g. with the "roof Garden" system): The PV Filter Sheet is laid directly on the waterproofing of the roof. The individual sheets must be laid with an overlapping of approximately / approx. 10 cm. At all edges of roof / perimeters, roof penetrations, etc., the Membrane must be extended at least up to the upper edge of the covering.
To protect against UV radiation and blowing away, the Filter Sheet must be covered immediately after installation.
2
Cutting:
The Membrane can be cut using a cutter knife (with a hard blade) or sturdy universal scissors. When cutting, make sure that the already laid layers are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
The Membrane must be cut out in a circle over roof outlets, approximately / approx. 1 cm larger than the roof outlet all round (cross cutting is not sufficient!).
