Product: ZincoFixodrive® "FX 50"
Unit: m²
Order Nr.: 3150
These Installation Instructions describe the essential steps for using this product. Please also observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the occupational health and safety regulations.
Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms.
IMPORTANT: Rolls that have been standing in the sun can heat up differently, which can cause the freshly rolled out sheets to lie slightly curved. For this reason, leave the sheets for a short time before joining them together.
1
Installation:
The PV Filter Sheet is laid as a protective layer under the Fixodrive®. The FX 50 is laid over the entire surface with approx. 3 cm overlapping so that the connecting studs on the long sides can be pressed into each other. Always ensure that the fleece-laminated side is on top. The one-sided fleece overlap covers the membrane joint.
To protect against UV radiation and blowing away, the Drainage Mat must be covered after laying.
A vibrating plate can be used to compact the ballast, but it must be taken into account that the work will be carried out on a roof surface. Select the vibratory plate accordingly so that the vibrations of the floor slab are not too great.
Foundations/back supports are constructed on the Filter Sheet.
2
Cutting:
The Drainage Mat can be cut using a cutter knife (with a hard blade) or a hot wire. When cutting, make sure that the already laid layers are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
Above roof outlets, the Drainage Mat must be cut to the size of the opening of the Inspection Chamber to be installed above it.
