These Installation Instructions describe the essential steps for using this product. Please also observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the occupational health and safety regulations.
Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms.
Installation:
The protective mat is laid loosely with approximately / approx. 10 cm overlapping. On rising edges of roof / perimeters and structural elements, it is laid at least up to the upper edge of the covering.
To protect against UV radiation and blowing away, the protective mat must be covered immediately after installation. Short-term protection against wind can also be provided by moistening the mats.
Cutting:
We recommend cutting the protective mat with sturdy universal scissors, taking care not to damage the waterproofing of the roof! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
The protective mat must be cut out in a circle over roof outlets, approximately / approx. 1 cm larger than the roof outlet all round (cross cutting is not sufficient!).
