These Installation Instructions describe the essential steps for using this product. Please also observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the occupational health and safety regulations.
Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms.

Installation:
Protection Mat / Moisture Retention SSM 45 is laid loosely above the Root Barrier WSF 40 or on the roof already waterproofed with root resistant waterproofing with approx. 10 cm overlapping. At the edges of roof / perimeter and rising structural elements, it is laid at least up to the top edge of the covering.
To protect against UV radiation and blowing away, the protective mat must be covered immediately after installation. Short-term protection against wind can also be provided by moistening the mats.

Cutting:
We recommend cutting the protective mat with sturdy universal scissors. When cutting, make sure that the waterproofing of the roof is not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
The protective mat must be cut in a circle over roof outlets, approximately / approx. 1 cm larger than the roof outlet all round (cross cutting is not sufficient!).
