Zinco mineral substrate Zincolit Plus in silo, incl. freight
Zincolit® Plus consists of Zincolit® and selected aggregates. It is particularly suitable for intensive and extensive green roofs in multi-layered construction, especially with the species on the "Sedum Carpet" plant list and as a sub-substrate for intensive and extensive green roofs with a substrate fill height of more than 35 cm and for backfilling drainage elements.
Purely mineral System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium produced on the basis of Zincolit® (specially processed clay tiles / clay bricks), enriched with selected additives. Particularly suitable for extensive green roofs in single or multi-layer construction with plant species from the "Sedum Carpet" plant list or as a sub-substrate for intensive and extensive green roofs with a total substrate height of more than 35 cm or for backfilling drainage elements. The plants can be applied by means of sprout sowing using the dry or wet sowing method or by planting (e.g. with Zinco KB 100 root ball plants). For species-appropriate plant development, we recommend our slow release fertilizer Zinco Plantfit® 4 M (see separate data sheet). Under constant control of the special laboratory for plant nutrition Labor Dr. Meyer-Spasche in accordance with the FLL green roof guidelines. Available in 20 l bags, in Big Bags, as open goods and in silo trailers. It must be calculated with a compression index / compacting factor of 1.25, i.e. 12.5 l must be ordered per square meter and cm of System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium to be installed.

With all methods, care must be taken to ensure that the roof surface is not statically overstressed at any point (e.g. by System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium mounds)! Boards or Big Bags may therefore only be placed on a stable substrate.
Open/loose goods:
Open goods are suitable where wheel loaders can be used, the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / GrowingMedium is to be picked up directly by special vehicles or applied with flexible bulk containers or the Zinco Turbobag®. By slewing the crane boom, the flexible bulk container can be used to coarse-spread the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium during application.
Big Bag:
Big Bags are particularly suitable for medium and large areas where a construction or mobile crane is available, or also for small areas, provided the material can be applied directly to the roof surface from the delivering crane vehicle. The bags are attached to the crane with all four loops. By opening the discharge valve, the bags can be emptied without setting them down on the roof surface. Pre-distribution can already be carried out by slewing the crane boom. Grading is then carried out with the rake. Capacity: 1.0 m³ or 1.5 m³.
Silo trailers:
Zincolit® Plus and most System Substrates can be conveyed using conventional silo trailers. This method is particularly suitable for large areas or areas that cannot be reached by crane. With this method, the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium can be distributed well during application, but care must be taken to protect sensitive structural elements (front walls / facades, skylight domes, etc.) against any debris that may occur. The blowing time varies depending on the hose length and the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium to be conveyed. A water connection on the construction site is recommended to reduce dust formation.
