Installation:
The installation of Eaves Profiles DP 55 / DP 80 / DP 120 depends on the area of application.
The profiles are placed loosely on the Filter Sheet as a border / boundary between the gravel / grit and the System Substrate / Soil / Growing Medium. They can be placed loosely on the roof seal or protective mat as a border / boundary for the entire green roof structure. To prevent slippage, DP-Fix Connectors with a fixing mat can also be used to increase the support area.
With plastic sheets, it is possible to fix the profile to the roof seal with short strips of roof sealing material through the holes in the Support leg. This is to be understood as an assembly aid, the transfer of shear forces into the waterproofing of the roof is not permitted!
If the profiles are used as a border / boundary between patio areas and green areas, we recommend using the stainless steel profiles and fixing them with concrete or mortar.
Matching connectors are inserted on the inside between the folded edges on the top and the Support leg and thus connected to the second Eaves Profile.
Cutting:
The Eaves Profiles can be cut with standard metal sheet scissors. It is important that the sharp edges are deburred after cutting. When cutting, make sure that the already laid layers are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
