DP-FIX is the ideal complement to our DP 55/80/120 A Eaves Profiles, whose components enable simple, quick and, above all, high-quality installation.
Range of applications:
DP-FIX is used for the visually appealing installation of DP profiles on unused flat roofs, e.g. for enclosing greenery or as a transition profile (gravel/greenery/concrete slab).
Installation instructions and procedure:
DP-FIX system components must be laid on the protective mat (> 300 g/m²).
The position fixing and stabilization is only realized by means of Superimposed / extra load on the attached fixing mat of the Connectors. The DP corners are pushed into the DP-FIX Connectors. A DP-FIX Connector must be placed before and after each corner.
Preparations and installation:
- Ensure that a protective mat > 300 g/m² is laid over the entire surface as a base for DP-FIX and the Eaves Profiles.
- Check scope of delivery
- Thread the DP-FIX Connector into the supplied fixing mat
DP-FIX Connectors are always supplied with a fixing mat.
The Connector is threaded into the mat from above ..
... and pushed through the two rear strips.
That's it! The DP-FIX Connector is ready for use.
- The DP profiles, DP-FIX Connectors (with the fixing mat threaded in) and, if required, DP corners are laid loosely according to the desired design. It must be ensured that the fixing mat can absorb the Superimposed / extra load over the total area of 0.50 x 0.75 m.
- An additional Connector with fixing mat is required before and after corners.
- If necessary, additional position fixing and stabilization can be achieved by applying a small Superimposed / extra load to the attached fixing mat.
- Once it has been ensured that the required geometry is mapped with the DP structural elements, the ZinCo Eaves Profiles can be installed step by step with the DP-FIX system components by clipping in or plugging in.
- Finally, the rest of the roof structure (e.g. drainage, SF, Zincolit®, etc.) is carefully applied so that the installation pattern is retained.
