Inspection Chamber for connection / connector of a downpipe at the edge of the underground garage and mounting of the RD 28 retention throttle. Consisting of an Inspection Chamber base made of aluminium with connection collar for sealing with liquid plastic on the on-site fold-up / upstand. Height approx. 200 mm, cover, lid approx. 400 x 400 mm. Incl. 2 galvanized steel brackets to support the projecting Inspection Chamber and fasten the downpipe, incl. cover, lid, incl. Retention Run-off Limiter RD 28.

The Edge Inspection Chamber for Underground Parking consists of an Inspection Chamber base and includes the RD 28 retention throttle.

The Edge Inspection Chamber for Underground Parking is to be positioned on the edge of the underground garage above the downpipe. The pre-assembled connection collars on the lower part of the Inspection Chamber are used for sealing. An approx. 45 cm wide and max. 20 cm deep cut-out in the fold-up / upstand is required on site. The Inspection Chamber base must be inserted into the cut-out and the connecting collars must be professionally sealed to the fold-up / upstand with liquid plastic.

Rainwater may only enter the manhole via the opening provided for this purpose. Underflow of the shaft must be prevented by correct installation.

If extension pieces are used, the cover, lid of the Inspection Chamber must be removed before installation, the required number of extension pieces fitted and the lid replaced on the Inspection Chamber (max. height approx. 60 cm).
The Retention Run-off Limiter RD must be placed over the opening to the downpipe. Use the scale on the top-mounted throttle element to set and adjust the water permeability. To do this, turn the fixing flange to the left or right to increase or decrease the opening of the water permeable element.
