Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms.
Installation:
Elastodrain® slabs must always be laid with the studs facing upwards. The slabs must be aligned in such a way that the seam protruding at the top can always be placed on the seam protruding at the bottom of the adjacent slab. If the Elastodrain® slabs are to be driven over, e.g. to apply the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium, it is recommended that they are secured against slipping beforehand with two connectors per joint
To protect against UV radiation, cover the drainage slabs with a Filter Sheet after laying.
A vibrating plate can be used to compact the gravel, but it must be taken into account that the work is being carried out on a roof surface. Select the vibratory plate accordingly so that the vibrations of the floor slab are not too great.
Foundations/back supports are constructed on the Filter Sheet.
Cutting:
The drainage slabs can be cut with an electric cutter. When cutting, make sure that the already laid layers are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
Over roof outlets, the drainage boards must be cut according to the size of the outlet.
