Installation should not be performed if there is a risk of a storm.
Installation:
RS 60 retention spacers should be installed with the ventilation openings (one hole per stud) facing upward. Installation is done in a pattern; for this purpose, the RS 60 elements feature connecting grooves all around. The elements must be installed so that the smaller groove fits into the larger one. This determines a specific installation direction, which must be maintained throughout the entire installation process. Arrows are embossed on the edges to indicate the installation direction.
After installation, the RS 60 elements must be covered immediately (UV protection!). To prevent the elements from being blown away, it is advisable to weigh them down, for example, with substrate bags.
Cutting:
The panels can be cut using a standard angle grinder, an electric cutter, or a hot wire. When cutting, take care to ensure that the already installed layers are not damaged under any circumstances! Should damage occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
The RS 60 elements must be cut out around roof outlets according to the outlet size.
