Installation should not be carried out if there is a risk of storms.

Installation:
Root Barrier WSF 40 is laid loose with approximately / approx. 1.5 m overlapping. The film is available in different dimensions / measurements so that even large Areas can be laid without overlapping. The Root Barrier must be run up to the top edge of waterproofing / sealing at the edge of roof / perimeter.
To protect against UV radiation and blowing away, the WSF 40 must be covered immediately after installation. This is usually done with Protection Mat / Moisture Retention SSM 45.

Cutting:
Root Barrier WSF 40 can be cut using a cutter knife (with a hard blade) or sturdy universal scissors. When cutting, make sure that the waterproofing of the roof is not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
The Root Barrier must be cut out in a circle above roof outlets, approximately / approx. 1 cm larger than the roof outlet all round (cross cutting is not sufficient!).
