Zinco System Substrate Rockery Type Plants in a 20 l bag
This tried-and-tested standard substrate for extensive green roofs is ideal for extensive green roofs in multi-layered construction with sedum species and perennials from the "Rockery Type Plants" plant community.
Substrate produced on the basis of Zincolit® Plus (specially prepared clay tiles / clay bricks with selected additives), enriched with Zincohum (mature compost with fibre material). Especially suitable for extensive green roofs in multi-layer construction with plant species from the "Rockery Type Plants" plant list. The vegetation can be established by planting (e.g. Zinco root ball plants FB 50) or by dry seeding (Zinco seed mixtures "Meadow Scent", "Country Colours" or "Grassy Pasture"). For species-appropriate plant development, we recommend our slow release fertilizer Zinco Plantfit® 4 M (see separate data sheet). Under constant control of the special laboratory for plant nutrition Labor Dr. Meyer-Spasche in accordance with the FLL green roof guidelines. Available in 20 l bags, in Big Bags, as open goods and in silo trailers. It must be calculated with a compression index / compacting factor of 1.35, i.e. 13.5 l must be ordered per square meter and cm of System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium to be installed.

Zincolit® Plus, Zincohum and the ZinCo System Substrates are offered in different delivery options. Depending on the size and location of a roof area or the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium to be applied, you can choose between the options below:
Open/loose product:
Open goods are suitable where wheel loaders can be used, the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium is to be picked up directly by special vehicles or applied using flexible bulk containers or the ZinCo Turbobag®.
Big Bag:
Big Bags are particularly suitable for medium and large areas where a construction or truck-mounted crane is available, or also for small areas, provided the material can be applied directly to the roof surface by the delivering crane vehicle. The bags are attached to the crane with all four loops. By opening the discharge valve, the bags can be emptied without setting them down on the roof surface. Pre-distribution can already be carried out by slewing the crane jib. Capacity: 1.0 m³ or 1.5 m³.
Silo trailers:
Zincolit® Plus and most System Substrates can be conveyed using conventional silo trailers. The blow-out time varies depending on the hose length and the System Substrate / Substrate Soil / Growing Medium to be conveyed. A water connection on site is recommended to reduce dust formation.
