Zinco retaining profile for Gravel Retainer KL width approximately / approx. 10 cm, aluminum

Fixing the Gravel Retainer KL 60/80 to KL 140/160 using retaining profiles:

The retaining profiles (Order No. 7905) can be used with all extruded ZinCo aluminum gravel strips (KL 60/80, KL 80/100, KL 100/120 and KL 140/160). They are used to secure the Gravel strips on flat sloping roofs (up to max. 10°) against slipping.

The retaining profiles are inserted into the rebate of the leg used as a support as far as it will go. The strips themselves are in turn fixed to the waterproofing of the roof using 10 cm wide and approximately / approx. 25 cm length strips of the same material as the waterproofing of the roof itself. It is important to ensure that the sealing strip lies directly against the rear fold-up / upstand of the strip, which is approximately / approx. 4 mm high. The profiles must be installed in such a way that the strips are loaded in tension!

Depending on the load, at least two retaining profiles must be provided for each 2 m length of Gravel Retainer, whereby care must be taken to ensure that the waterproofing of the roof itself is fixed to the substrate in the relevant area. The joints of the Gravel Retainers must be secured with connectors.
