Product: Zinco Retention Spacer "RSX 170"
Unit: m²
Order Nr.: 3417
Installation:
The Retention Spacers RSX are laid side by side on a protective layer, e.g. the Filter Sheet PV, on the roof with root resistant waterproofing.
If the spacers are to be driven over, it is advisable to secure them against slipping beforehand with four connectors per element. Special connectors are available for this purpose, which are inserted into the recesses of the RSX spacers. In this case, offset installation is not possible.
The RSX elements must be covered immediately after installation (UV protection!). To prevent the elements from blowing away, it is advisable to weigh them down with sand/substrate bags, for example. If the RSX-Spacers are to be installed in one piece over a length of more than 30 m, a 50 mm wide expansion joint must be installed.
Cutting:
The elements can be cut with a standard angle grinder, an electric cutter or a hot wire. All RSX spacers can only be separated from each other at the connecting webs, otherwise the element will be too unstable. When cutting, care must be taken to ensure that the already laid layers are not damaged under any circumstances If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately. The RSX elements must be cut out over roof outlets according to the outlet size
